From the press: 2-byte βeta Ei8ht ½-Loops is an alphanumeric text/image object that doesn’t claim to be anything other than what it is (the denatured exposition of the underlying source code used to create it, on some quantum level). Not only does the book acknowledge the technology used to bring it into existence, but it reverses the accepted notions of “authorship” by including you the reader into the experiment, folding one and all into the sandboxed fabric of the self-perpetuating feedback loop. The appointed author (“1-wing 2can, et al”) amounts to any one that acquires, reads and/or engages with this book (the “authorship” on the book’s webpage will update incrementally), i.e. a crowd-sourced way to propagate the over-arching U/X project to the next level (consider the book as a Calamari Archive stock certificate).
